Our Story

TradeVolt AI wasn't built by a bunch of tech bros in a Silicon Valley boardroom.
It was built by an electrician in Minnesota who knows exactly how hard it is to break into this trade.

When you first start out, the learning curve is brutal. You're handed a crinkled, 900-page NEC codebook that reads like a law dictionary. You're trying to figure out how to get your foot in the door, land a job with a solid contractor, and wrap your head around complex field math and conduit bends without getting chewed out by your foreman.

The electrical trade is one of the most technical, math-heavy, and code-intensive jobs in the world. Yet, while every other industry gets sleek software and cutting-edge tech, electricians are still expected to do conduit fill calculations and box fill math on the tailgate of a truck.

I wanted to build something that actually helps guys learn the trade, get to know the trade, and eventually love the trade, without getting bogged down by the frustrating, outdated parts of it.

So, I built the ultimate tool.

TradeVolt AI is designed to take the friction out of the code. Whether you are a first-year apprentice trying to memorize basic Ohm's Law to pass your aptitude test, or a 30-year Master Electrician looking for a quick visual can-light layout, TradeVolt puts the answers in your pocket instantly.

We trained our AI to speak the language of the jobsite—no corporate fluff, no robotic filler, just straight answers, exact NEC citations, and brutal honesty.
