Terms of Service

1. CRITICAL LIABILITY WAIVER (READ CAREFULLY)

ELECTRICITY IS LETHAL. By downloading, accessing, or using the TradeVolt AI mobile application or website ("the Service"), you explicitly acknowledge and legally agree to the following:

  • TradeVolt AI is strictly an educational and reference tool. It is NOT a replacement for a licensed Master Electrician, a Professional Electrical Engineer (PE), the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), or the official National Electrical Code® (NEC).
  • The artificial intelligence models powering this app are experimental and can and will make mistakes, "hallucinate" incorrect formulas, and generate dangerous advice. You must independently verify all AI outputs, calculations, blueprints, and code citations before applying them in the field.
  • The developers, owners, affiliates, and creators of TradeVolt AI bear ABSOLUTELY ZERO LIABILITY for any physical harm, bodily injury, electrocution, electrical fires, property damage, or death resulting directly or indirectly from the use of this Service.
  • We bear ABSOLUTELY ZERO FINANCIAL LIABILITY for under-quoted jobs, lost bids, material shortages, failed inspections, code violations, or business losses resulting from reliance on the Pro Bid Writer, Calculators, or AI Inspector.
  • You use this Service entirely at your own personal and professional risk. If you do not agree to completely indemnify and hold harmless TradeVolt AI from all liability, you must immediately delete the app.

2. No NFPA Affiliation

TradeVolt AI is an independent software tool. We are strictly not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA®). NFPA®, National Electrical Code®, and NEC® are registered trademarks of the National Fire Protection Association. All code references in this app are paraphrased summaries and educational interpretations, not verbatim copies of the copyrighted text.

3. Pro Subscription & Payments

TradeVolt AI offers an optional auto-renewing premium subscription ("TradeVolt Pro") for $9.99/month (pricing subject to change).

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store Account Settings after purchase. We cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.
  • All sales are final, and we do not offer refunds for partial months of service.

4. User Conduct on "The Jobsite"

When using "The Jobsite" community board, you agree to the following rules:

  • Do not post illegal, explicit, threatening, or spam content.
  • Do not dox, harass, or personally attack other users.
  • We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any advice given by other users on the community board. Following advice from strangers on the internet is at your own risk.
  • We reserve the right to permanently ban your device, IP address, and Apple ID from the community board at our sole discretion, without warning or refund, if you violate these rules.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction.
