TradeVolt AI ("we", "our", or "us") is deeply committed to protecting your privacy. We are electricians, not data brokers. This Privacy Policy explains exactly how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the TradeVolt AI mobile application.

2. Data We Strictly Do NOT Collect

We believe in absolute anonymity for tradesmen. Unlike other apps, we intentionally avoid tracking you:

  • NO Real Names: We do not ask for or store your legal name, physical address, or phone number.
  • NO GPS Tracking: We do not track your exact GPS location or track which job sites you visit.
  • NO Financial Data: We do not collect, see, process, or store your credit card or bank information. All payments are handled securely off-device by Apple.
  • NO Data Selling: We do not package, sell, or rent your data to advertisers, tool brands, or third-party marketing agencies. Period.

3. Data We Collect (To Make The App Work)

To provide you with AI tools, code translation, and the community board, we must collect minimal, anonymous functional data:

  • Anonymous Usernames: When using "The Jobsite", you select a temporary, anonymous username (e.g., "Sparky_42"). The posts, comments, likes, and code snippets you share are stored publicly under this pseudonym on our encrypted cloud databases.
  • AI Queries & Photos: When you use the AI Inspector, Pro Bid Writer, or Code Translator, the text and photos you submit are securely transmitted to our enterprise AI partners to generate your answers. Do NOT submit sensitive personal, proprietary, or confidential client information (like home addresses or customer names) to the AI tools.
  • App Usage & Crash Logs: We use diagnostic tools to see when the app crashes or encounters errors. This data is strictly used to patch bugs and improve app stability.
  • Subscription Status: If you upgrade to TradeVolt Pro, your anonymous device ID and active subscription status are securely verified by our subscription infrastructure to unlock the premium tools.
  • Hiring Hub Data: If you choose to take the Placement Exam, your score and rank are saved anonymously to allow you to track your progress and compare your percentile.

4. Third-Party Infrastructure

We rely on world-class, secure third-party infrastructure to power the app. We strictly partner with enterprise-grade services that share our commitment to privacy:

  • Apple: For App Store hosting, In-App Purchases, and native device security.
  • Subscription Management: We use secure, industry-standard infrastructure to verify and manage Pro subscription statuses anonymously without touching your payment info.
  • Enterprise AI Processing: Your AI requests, translations, and photo inspections are processed via secure, enterprise-grade AI APIs. Your data is strictly quarantined and is NOT used to train public AI models.
  • Encrypted Databases: We utilize top-tier, encrypted cloud databases to securely host "The Jobsite" community posts and anonymous user ranks.
  • App Diagnostics: We utilize secure diagnostic infrastructure to deploy critical bug fixes and monitor app stability without tracking personal user identities.

5. Data Deletion & Your Rights

Because we do not collect your real name or email, your data is intrinsically anonymized. If you wish to delete your username and associated Jobsite history from the database, you can use the "Reset Username" feature inside the App Settings, or contact us directly with your specific Device ID for a manual purge.
